Frequently asked questions

+ Why did my syringe break?

Typically the syringe will break if the pressure put on it is too high. This can happen if -

a) the material being printed is too viscous
b) the syringe is seated improperly
c) the stepper motor is set to reverse too quickly

+ Where can I get more syringes?

Check out the Structur3d Printing's store for replacement cartridge packs.

Alternatively, appropriate syringes (60 CC, plastic with luer lock tip) can be sourced from most medical equipment suppliers.

+ I keep hearing a weird sound. What's causing it, and how do I fix it?

When inputting the number of "steps per millimeter" into your Slicer settings - this sound may be heard if the number of steps is too high. Adjust your settings.
