Toronto's Maker Festival is upon us and we have decided to celebrate it in style.
For those that are not sure of what the Festival is: it can only really be described as a Maker Extravaganza designed to celebrate Ontario's culture of making. Various satellite events are open to the public from July 25th - 31st while the big hurrah will take place at the Toronto Reference Library August 1st and 2nd. Did I mention it's FREE?! There is really no reason why you shouldn't go.
To get back to the title of this post, we are hosting an innovation night to honor the festival in collaboration with ReDeTec as well as Mosaic Manufacturing, Tiko 3D, and Matter and Form. The event will be graciously hosted by ReDeTec at 240 Broadview Ave, Toronto and it's sure to be a blast!
If you wanted to network in the 3D Printing Scene in Ontario (and believe me you do) this is the event to be at. Come to see live demos of everyone's products and enjoy free beer.
However! Due to the liquor laws, the event is guest list / invite only. You MUST join the Facebook event or contact Structur3d / one of the above companies to be able to come. Admission and drinks are still free, don't worry!
How to Get To The Party
July 28th / 6pm - 11pm / 240 Broadview Ave, Toronto
The office is right on the North-West corner of Dundas and Broadview. Biking or transit is strongly recommended (some street parking available).
To TTC, take either the 505 or 504 streetcar to Dundas and Broadview, or take the 506 or 501 streetcar to Broadview and walk one block South/North respectively.
We hope to see you on July 28!
Please let us know your ideas on what we should print at the party in the comments below.
